The Time of Oil  Industry    : 

If  several  countries  have  been  exploiting  their  natural  resources and  geographical  sites in making use of  the  industrial, commercial, economical and investment activities  in general  and  of the  gas and  oil activities  in particular  especially  in the Middle East  region , namely  the  Arab peninsula, the  very  rich in its  gas and oil.  Among  characteristics distinguishing  Yemen  from other  region countries is  its  outstanding  investment site   crossing  the  world  trade path separating between the east and the west.  For  this  unique  feature,  the natural resources  of  the  region can be exploited including  the gas and oil  resources across the gate  of  Yemen peninsula, promising  with  fruitful resources and in the aftermath  inure  the  benefit to  the   region countries as a whole.

Therefore,  we  encounter serious  challenges and responsibilities  against which  we  should  be  eligible to  overcome.  This the very ambition envisaged by  the  Ministry of Oil  and Mineral   in its  new  time , which is  the  optimal  way  to  realize  our  economic  status and  to satisfy  the  ambitions of H.E, President  Ali Abdullah Saleh , who  pays  this  sector  an  impressive attention  and  endless support.

Therefore,  only  those  with  progressive  strategies and  huge  projects and unlimited ambitions in the oil domains.

Hence, we  can bet on the promising, fruitful  future  awaiting the  Yemen Oil Refining Company , which has taken the initiative for  establishing  giant  investment projects  in the petrochemical, refining industries field , and in particular when taking  up   Marib Refinery , YORC  put into effect   the  notion of “ Jobs Yemenization” .
